Digital Learning Week #5

Hello TMSA Family,

1. Grades are being updated, PowerSchool had a home maintenance this weekend and was down. Will be a little delayed this week.

2. I have many students missing assignments. I understand that COVID has caused many changes to our lives, but it is important to get assignments done. All assignments are still available on studyisland.com.

3. Please check PowerSchool for accurate up-to-date grades. I make mistakes, if you completed an assignment or there is an error, shoot me an email.

4. If you have a question about whether or not your student completed an assignment check Study Island and then PowerSchool.

5. This is the 5th week of digital learning. Please be sure to follow the class website www.preciousbradley91.wixsite.com/tmsa. If you download the wix app you can get notifications right to your phone. Create a profile to chat with me at any time. If students are getting cabin fever, this is a safe way for both of us to communicate.

6. JOURNALISM D&S CLASS ASSIGNMENT. Type and email a paragraph (5-8 detailed sentences) answering the following question: What is the difference between a news article and a blog post? Which would you rather get your news from?

7. Assignments are on studyisland.com. There are two assignments on Study Island this week: Ethical and Safe Behavior & Copyright Law and Intellectual Property. Students are able to take the assignment and I will collect the highest grade on Friday After 5P. Students have until 5P Friday, April 24th to complete assignments.
